{"id":75480,"date":"2023-03-13T19:15:24","date_gmt":"2023-03-13T17:15:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/?p=75480"},"modified":"2025-09-10T11:53:47","modified_gmt":"2025-09-10T08:53:47","slug":"cme-group-launches-event-contracts-on-bitcoin-futures","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/cme-group-launches-event-contracts-on-bitcoin-futures\/","title":{"rendered":"CME Group launches event contracts on Bitcoin futures"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME Group) <a href=\\\"https:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/news-releases\/cme-group-announces-first-day-of-trading-of-event-contracts-on-bitcoin-futures-301769795.html\\\">announced<\/a> the launch of event contracts on Bitcoin futures.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>According to CME Group, the new instrument \u201cprovides broad access to the market\u201d through a fully regulated exchange.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n\\n\\n<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\\\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\\\">\n<p>\u201c[\u2026] the new contracts will offer an innovative, cheaper way to express views on the direction of Bitcoin&#8217;s price movement,\u201d the statement said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\\n\\n\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>The contract is capped at $20 and allows bets on the event at the end of each trading session.
