But the core idea is to thread the needle \u2014 i.e., to give institutions the ability to buy and defend the asset alongside us,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Amid the closure of crypto-friendly banks <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/us-rescue-saves-svb-and-signature-bank-depositors-stablecoins-narrow-the-depegging\"><span data-descr=\"Silicon Valley Bank\" class=\"old_tooltip\">SVB<\/span> and Signature Bank<\/a>, Messari&#8217;s head noted that the authorities\u2019 quantitative-easing policy is gaining momentum.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In August 2022, Selkis <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/messari-founder-calls-sec-stance-on-spot-bitcoin-etf-fraud\">criticized<\/a> the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for denying the conversion of Grayscale Investments&#8217; Bitcoin Trust into an exchange-traded fund.
