The opening is slated for April.<\/p>\n<p>Partners in the initiative include real estate firm Tokyu Real Estate and the <span data-descr=\"virtual reality\" class=\"old_tooltip\">VR<\/span>-content producer Skeleton Crew Studio.<\/p>\n<p>In the initial phase, the &#8216;laboratory&#8217; will be accessible only to select Alibaba Cloud customers. Developers from partner firms will provide advisory services and technical support.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;We provide reliable, secure and high-performance cloud infrastructure, technologies platforms and tools for developers in Japan to create games, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-the-metaverse\">metaverses<\/a> and social networks based on Web3,&#8221; said Unik Song, the regional manager of Alibaba Cloud.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The company also announced the launch of a service for blockchain nodes by year-end.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the Immutable platform <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/immutable-signs-partnership-with-polygon-to-develop-web3-games\">entered into<\/a> a partnership with <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-polygon-matic\">Polygon<\/a> to accelerate the development and deployment of Web3 games.<\/p>\n<p>In March, the CCP Games team <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/ccp-games-raises-40-million-from-a16z-and-other-investors\">raised<\/a> $40 million to create a blockchain-based game in the EVE Online universe.
