Data: Tetchange.com.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In the Russian Federation, the exchange&#8217;s office <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/chainalysis-names-moscow-city-firms-linked-to-laundering-cybercriminals-funds\">was located in \u201cMoscow-City\u201d<\/a>. Its branches were also opened in Armenia, Georgia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-text-wrappers-update-2 article_update\"><time class=\"gtb_text-wrappers_update_time\">August 17, 2023 | 18:12<\/time><span class=\"gtb_text-wrappers_update_head\">Update: <\/span><\/p>\n<p>Representatives from Tetchange told ForkLog they had a comment on the situation.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cThe incident was entirely provoked by scammers. To avoid unnecessary complications, we paused our work. The problem is now resolved and there is no threat of such an incident to our database; we have resumed our activities,\u201d the exchange&#8217;s representatives said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>They also added that, at present, the exchange provides services only in Russia, Armenia and Georgia.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.chainalysis.com\/reports\/2022-crypto-crime-report-preview-russia-ransomware-money-laundering\/\">Chainalysis<\/a>, from 2019 to 2021 Tet\u0441hange processed transactions totaling $21.9 million.
