This is reported in<a href=\"https:\/\/www.presseportal.de\/pm\/80210\/5475651\"> \u043f\u0440\u0435\u0441\u0441-\u0440\u0435\u043b\u0438\u0437\u0435<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>BaFin&#8217;s approval means that the sixth-largest stock exchange in Europe will be able to offer institutional investors services for trading and custody of digital assets.<\/p>\n<p>Among the organisations that are expected to use the offering are banks, brokers, asset managers and family offices.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cOur platform is a universal service for brokerage, trading and custody of cryptocurrencies, fully regulated by BaFin,\u201d said Matthias Felkel, CEO of Boerse Stuttgart.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In April 2022, Commerzbank, one of Germany&#8217;s largest banking groups, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/commerzbank-applies-for-crypto-custodian-licence-in-germany\">submitted a similar application<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier in November, BaFin <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/german-regulator-says-banks-interest-in-cryptocurrencies-is-limited\">reported<\/a> a &#8216;limited&#8217; interest from local banks in cryptocurrencies.
