Users deposit Bitcoins to a deposit address and receive an equivalent amount of ckBTC on supported networks. A reverse conversion is also guaranteed.<\/p>\n<p>In January 2022, developers completed <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/developers-of-the-internet-computer-complete-the-first-phase-of-integration-with-the-bitcoin-blockchain\">the first phase of integration<\/a> between the Internet Computer and the Bitcoin blockchain.
