In accordance with regulatory requirements, it supports<a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/swiss-crypto-bank-sygnum-offers-trading-and-custody-of-defi-tokens\"> liquidity across a broad range of cryptocurrencies<\/a>, and services such as<a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/sygnum-becomes-the-first-bank-to-offer-ethereum-2-0-staking-to-clients\"> staking<\/a> are also available.<\/p>\n<p>Philipp Merkt, PostFinance&#8217;s chief investment officer, explained that the expansion of the product line was driven by growing demand for digital assets among clients.<\/p>\n<p>Established in 1906, the bank is a subsidiary of Swiss Post&#8217;s financial services arm, the Swiss national postal service.<\/p>\n<p>In 2021, the provider and Swissquote <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/swissquote-and-postfinance-launch-app-to-buy-bitcoin\">launched<\/a> the Yuh app. Its users gained the ability to invest in Bitcoin, Ethereum and another 11 cryptocurrencies.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier in January 2022, Sygnum<a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/swiss-crypto-bank-sygnum-raises-90-million\">&#8216;s valuation reached around $800 million<\/a> following a $90 million Series B financing round.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PostFinance, the government-owned lender, will offer clients trading and custody of digital assets.
