The new company will be led by Jihan Wu as founder and chairman.<\/p>\n<p>According to the press release, the provider operates six data centres with a combined capacity of 775 MW as of the end of 2022. The firm provides services for procuring equipment for cryptocurrency mining, logistics, hosting and cloud mining.<\/p>\n<p>Bitdeer <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/bitdeers-jihan-wu-to-go-public-via-spac-merger-with-blue-safari-group-acquisition-corp\">announced<\/a> plans to go public in November 2021.<\/p>\n<p>In December 2020, the two founders of the mining hardware maker Bitmain \u2014 Jihan Wu and Micree Zhang \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/jihan-wu-to-receive-600m-severance-as-he-exits-bitmain\">reached an agreement<\/a> to settle the protracted dispute.<\/p>\n<p>In January 2021 Wu <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/jihan-wu-steps-down-as-bitmain-chief-executive\">left Bitmain<\/a>, receiving $600 million in severance, along with the BTC.com mining pool and Bitdeer.
