It looks inspiring,\u201d said the industry veteran.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In Lee\u2019s view, amid the banking crisis, digital currencies have demonstrated the qualities of safe-haven assets.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\\\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\\\">\n<p>\u201cPeople began to understand that their money in the bank does not necessarily stay there. Institutions lend these funds to other enterprises and firms,\u201d he noted.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin provide the ability to custody assets independently and to exercise full control over one\u2019s resources, the head of Ballet emphasised.<\/p>\n<p>He also commented on the regulatory framework for the US financial markets, calling it \u201cthe most mature and established regulatory regime.\u201d In Lee\u2019s assessment, oversight bodies like the <span data-descr=\\\"U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission\\\" class=\\\"old_tooltip\\\">SEC<\/span> after a decade of calls to tighten crypto-industry policy have moved it to a more favourable regime.<\/p>\n<p>The founder of the oldest Chinese Bitcoin exchange welcomed the adoption of <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/hong-kong-eases-crypto-regulation-and-revises-stance-on-bitcoin-etfs\">regulatory rules<\/a> for digital assets in Hong Kong.
