The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theregister.com\/2023\/04\/28\/tencent_digital_humans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" title=\"\">The Register<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n<p>The system relies on Tencent Cloud TI \u2014 a machine-learning platform that offers more than ten AI algorithms.<\/p>\n<p>To generate a high-definition avatar, a three-minute live video and 100 spoken sentences must be uploaded by the user. The synthesis process for the digital twin will take about 24 hours.<\/p>\n<p>Users can generate avatars in full-body or waist-up views.<\/p>\n<p>The bots support English and Chinese languages. According to the company, the digital clones avoid flat intonation and a uniform speech rhythm, typical of traditional acoustic models.<\/p>\n<p>In total, Tencent offers five styles for digital people:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>3D realistic;<\/li>\n<li>3D semi-realistic;<\/li>\n<li>3D cartoon;<\/li>\n<li>2D real person;<\/li>\n<li>2D cartoon.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Individual questions and answers can be created for the digital person, turning it into something of a deepfake chatbot.<\/p>\n<p>The service costs $145. The creations can be used in advertising campaigns.
