{"id":78160,"date":"2023-05-02T14:43:45","date_gmt":"2023-05-02T11:43:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/?p=78160"},"modified":"2025-09-11T03:24:54","modified_gmt":"2025-09-11T00:24:54","slug":"ark-invest-puts-another-8-3-million-into-coinbase-shares","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/ark-invest-puts-another-8-3-million-into-coinbase-shares\/","title":{"rendered":"ARK Invest puts another $8.3 million into Coinbase shares"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ARK Invest\u2011managed funds <a href=\"https:\/\/ark-funds.com\/ark-trade-notifications\/\">bought more<\/a> Coinbase shares for $8.3 million.<\/p>\n<p>The funds allocated the assets as follows:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>flagship ARK Innovation ETF \u2014 129,604 shares for $6.4 million;<\/li>\n<li>ARK Next Generation ETF \u2014 23,456 shares for $1.1 million;<\/li>\n<li>TF ARK Fintech Innovation \u2014 15,809 shares for $790,000.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Cathie Wood&#8217;s venture firm bought the shares at $49.97.<\/p>\n<p>The funds boosted their positions the day after Coinbase <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/coinbase-accused-of-violating-laws-over-kyc-procedures\">was sued<\/a> for privacy-law violations related to the <span data-descr=\"Know Your Customer \u2014 'know your customer'\" class=\"old_tooltip\">KYC<\/span> procedure.<\/p>\n<p>In the last 24 hours, Coinbase shares fell sharply, down 10.5% from $54.21 to $48.49. The company had steadily built up its positions in the stock, and only in March 2023 <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/ark-invest-unloads-coinbase-shares-for-13-5-million\">unwound a position worth $13.5 million<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In late April, Cathie Wood&#8217;s funds <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/ark-invest-adds-coinbase-shares-worth-8-6-million\">bought more<\/a> Coinbase shares for $8.6 million.
