On March 13, the hard fork was successfully activated on the project&#8217;s testnet.<\/p>\n<p>The developers noted that the Zend node router 3.3.1 will stop being supported from May 31. Its fourth version will be available until September 19.<\/p>\n<p>The update will bring improvements to Horizen&#8217;s sidechain technology and fix minor bugs found in the protocol. Developer tools across different operating systems will also be enhanced.<\/p>\n<p>Horizen is a blockchain ecosystem that uses <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-a-zero-knowledge-proof\">zero-knowledge proofs<\/a> technology. The project aims to create sidechains with customizable functionality, for example, exclusively for DeFi protocols.<\/p>\n<p>According to CoinGecko, the project&#8217;s native token ZEN rose 6.7% over the past week.
