Every year on May 22 the cryptocurrency community marks Bitcoin Pizza Day. The anniversary stems from a milestone for the industry, when in 2010 programmer Laszlo Hanyecz purchased<\/a> two Papa John\u2019s pizzas for 10,000 BTC.<\/p>\n

As of writing, they are worth about $267 million. In 2023 the community marks Bitcoin Pizza Day for the 13th time. ForkLog has gathered greetings and promotions for the celebration.<\/p>\n

Among supporters of the event is the cryptocurrency exchange Binance. This year the platform is running prizes, delivering pizzas in person, and hosting contests. <\/p>\n
