The new <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-a-layer%e2%80%912-solution-in-blockchain\">L2 protocol<\/a> is designed to enable developers of <span data-descr=\\\"decentralized applications\\\" class=\\\"old_tooltip\\\">dapps<\/span> to use &#8216;rollups&#8217; for seamless interaction with the network of the second cryptocurrency.<\/p>\n<p>To extend the Levitation Protocol&#8217;s capabilities, Skale also plans to launch an additional L1 blockchain SKALE G. Data: Skale Network.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>According to the developers, the proposed system has three main advantages over existing ZK-Rollups (ZKR) solutions:<\/p>\n<ul class=\\\"wp-block-list\\\">\n<li>decentralization \u2014 all &#8216;rollups&#8217; are executed within the ecosystem without any software modification;<\/li>\n<li>compatibility and modularity \u2014 the system turns ZKR into modules that interact with each other seamlessly;<\/li>\n<li>overall security \u2014 several ZKR can operate on a single chain with a shared transaction ledger.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Skale Network is governed by <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-a-dao-decentralised-autonomous-organisation\">DAO<\/a>, but the community of core developers proposed adding the new protocol through its own forum. They plan to deploy a testnet of the solution in the coming months.
