This assessment was provided by <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.coinshares.com\/volume-134-digital-asset-fund-flows-weekly-report-d80a58e287eb\">CoinShares<\/a> analysts.<\/p>\n<p>Over the last seven weeks, investors reduced holdings by $329 million (~1% of <span data-descr=\"assets under management\" class=\"old_tooltip\">AUM<\/span>).<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-356.webp\" alt=\"image-356\" class=\"wp-image-208504\"\/><figcaption>Data: CoinShares.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>&#8220;Investors were booking profits and closing short positions. The outflow cannot be interpreted as a structural weakening of interest in digital assets,&#8221;<\/em> the analysts said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Trading activity in cryptocurrency instruments remained 60% below this year&apos;s average. Over the last seven weeks the indicator fell by 55%.<\/p>\n<p>The negative momentum was driven mainly by a substantial outflow from Tron-based products \u2014 investors withdrew $51 million, equivalent to 70% of their <span data-descr=\"assets under management\" class=\"old_tooltip\">AUM<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>CoinShares attributed the move to the closing of an offering by one of the providers.<\/p>\n<p>From Bitcoin products they withdrew $2.7 million ($11.5 million the previous week). From structures that allow short exposure to the first cryptocurrency, investors pulled $6.3 million versus $10.9 million in the previous reporting period. Over the last six weeks, the AUM of the latter fell by 44%.<\/p>\n<p>Ethereum funds reflected outflows of $2.7 million versus $5.9 million the prior week.<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere among altcoins there was positive momentum with the exception of Tron.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-357.webp\" alt=\"image-357\" class=\"wp-image-208506\"\/><figcaption>Data: CoinShares.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Earlier, JPMorgan<a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/jpmorgan-flags-45000-as-a-guide-for-bitcoins-rally\"> signalled $45,000<\/a> as a benchmark for Bitcoin&apos;s growth.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Outflows from cryptocurrency investment products from May 27 to June 2 totalled $61.5 million, up from $39.3 million a week earlier.
