{"id":80224,"date":"2023-06-14T20:01:41","date_gmt":"2023-06-14T17:01:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/?p=80224"},"modified":"2025-09-11T15:33:37","modified_gmt":"2025-09-11T12:33:37","slug":"cross-chain-protocol-connext-raises-7-5-million","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/cross-chain-protocol-connext-raises-7-5-million\/","title":{"rendered":"Cross-chain protocol Connext raises $7.5 million"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The interoperability-focused blockchain project Connext raised $7.5 million in a strategic funding round, valuing it at $250 million. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theblock.co\/post\/234494\/interoperability-startup-connext-raises-7-5-million\">The Block<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n<p>Investors include: Polychain Capital, Coinbase Ventures, NGC Ventures, Ethereal Ventures, Polygon Ventures, IOSG Ventures, Fenbushi Capital, KXVC, a_capital, No Limit Holdings, 1k(x), #Hashed, Factor, Scalar Capital and Dokia Capital.<\/p>\n<p>The funds will be used to establish the Connext Foundation to fund projects aimed at scaling the project, community initiatives, and other long-term growth strategies.<\/p>\n<p>Connext reported 20,000 users and more than 1.2 million transactions processed. The project&#8217;s total funding to date stands at $23.5 million.<\/p>\n<p>In March 2021, Connext <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/connext-raises-2-2-million-seed-round-from-huobi-and-polychain-capital\">raised $2.2 million<\/a> in seed funding from Huobi and Polychain Capital. In July, 82 investors <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/ethereum-project-connext-raises-12-million-from-consensys-backed-mesh-and-1kx\">supported the project<\/a> in a $12 million funding round.<\/p>\n<p>In February 2023, Connext <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/connext-unveils-amarok-update-to-enable-cross-chain-apps\">unveiled the Amarok update<\/a>.
