Initially it can decode <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/dumbnamenumbers\/status\/1670068448485941248?s=20\">only images<\/a>, but in the future this function will expand to all types of inscriptions.<\/p>\n<p>Leman leveraged calldata storage in the <span data-descr=\"Ethereum Virtual Machine\" class=\"old_tooltip\">EVM<\/span>, which transmits data via a smart-contract call or a transaction.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u00abAny successful Ethereum transaction whose input data (UTF-8 encoded) are unique with a valid <span data-descr=\"Uniform Resource Identifier \u2014 unique resource identifier\" class=\"old_tooltip\">URI<\/span> creates an inscription. Duplicate content is ignored\u00bb, \u2014 explained the developer.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Users must send 0 ETH to the artifact-creation address, placing in the Hex data field a file converted to hexadecimal format.<\/p>\n<p>According to Leman, the use of the protocol is cheaper and more decentralised than contract storage.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The solution guarantees the \u201cglobal uniqueness\u201d of all Ethscriptions.
