The report, citing informed sources, appeared in <a href=\\\"https:\/\/financefwd.com\/de\/binance-oesterreich\/\\\">FinanceFWD<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the company took a similar decision regarding applications submitted to authorities<a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/binance-to-exit-the-netherlands\"> Netherlands<\/a>,<a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/binance-seeks-to-withdraw-its-cyprus-registration\"> Cyprus<\/a> and<a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/binances-uk-arm-deregisters-with-the-fca\"> United Kingdom<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In a discussion with <a href=\\\"https:\/\/www.theblock.co\/post\/236405\/binance-austria-withdraws-license-application\\\">The Block<\/a>, platform representatives neither confirmed nor denied the information.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\\\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\\\">\n<p><em>\u00abCurrently, our focus in Europe is on ensuring full compliance with the requirements of <span data-descr=\\\"Markets in Crypto Assets\\\" class=\\\"old_tooltip\\\">MiCA<\/span>\u00bb,<\/em> the organisation explained.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>According to FinanceFWD, the FMA was exerting pressure on Binance Austria&#8217;s local subsidiary.<\/p>\n<p>The company has licenses in several European countries, including<a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/binance-secures-digital-asset-service-provider-license-in-france\"> France<\/a>,<a href=\\\"https:\/\/forklog.io\/binance-poluchila-litsenziyu-provajdera-tsifrovyh-aktivov-v-italii\/\\\"> Italy<\/a>,<a href=\\\"https:\/\/forklog.news\/binance-poluchila-litsenziyu-provajdera-tsifrovyh-aktivov-v-ispanii\/\\\"> Spain<\/a>,<a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/binance-wins-approval-to-operate-in-poland-as-a-virtual-asset-service-provider\"> Poland<\/a>, Sweden and Lithuania.<\/p>\n<p>In June, media reported that the Paris prosecutor&#8217;s office opened an investigation into<a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/french-authorities-announce-probe-into-binance\"> suspected money laundering<\/a> by the platform.<\/p>\n<p>Subsequently, it emerged that the Belgian Financial Services and Markets Authority<a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/belgium-orders-binance-to-cease-activities-in-the-country\"> ordered<\/a> Binance to immediately cease providing digital-asset-related services in the country.<\/p>\n<p>On June 5, <span data-descr=\\\"U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission\\\" class=\\\"old_tooltip\\\">SEC<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/sec-files-suit-against-binance-and-changpeng-zhao\"> filed a lawsuit against the exchange<\/a> and its CEO Changpeng Zhao.
