Unlike the former subsidiary, which was oriented toward professional and institutional traders, the firm will continue to focus on retail users.<\/p>\n<p>One Trading positions itself as a <a href=\"https:\/\/ru.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/MiFID\">MiFID<\/a>-compliant trading platform with a license as a <span data-descr=\"virtual asset service provider\" class=\"old_tooltip\">VASP<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>The group is ready to offer \u201ccapital-efficient spot and derivatives products\u201d to a broad range of clients.<\/p>\n<p>In October 2021, Bitpanda Pro <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/bitpanda-hires-former-jpmorgan-executive-to-head-its-institutional-platform\">became<\/a> the former head of digital innovations at JPMorgan, Joshua Barraclough.<\/p>\n<p>Two months earlier, the platform <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/bitpanda-closes-263-million-series-c-at-4-1-billion-valuation\">raised $263 million<\/a> from Alan Howard and Valar Ventures\u2019 Peter Thiel, as well as other investors. The company&#8217;s valuation reached $4.1 billion. The funds were directed toward international expansion and scaling the business.<\/p>\n<p>In June last year the platform <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/bitpanda-to-lay-off-730-employees-to-protect-its-financial-health\">laid off<\/a> 730 employees amid a bear market.<\/p>\n<p>In October 2022, the German neobank N26<a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/n26-neobank-to-launch-crypto-trading-service-in-partnership-with-bitpanda\"> announced<\/a> the addition of digital asset trading through a partnership with Bitpanda.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The crypto platform Bitpanda Pro has become an independent entity under the One Trading brand.
