The team at StarkWare noted that other applications, including ImmutableX, Sorare and Rhino, have also made a substantial contribution.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>According to the project&#8217;s site, the total value of assets locked in StarkEx stands at $532 million. Since launch, users have completed 458 million transactions and minted 113 million <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-are-nfts\">non-fungible tokens<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u00abWe have built an infrastructure that supports the most complex and user-friendly blockchain applications,\u00bb said co-founder and chief executive Uri Kolodny.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>StarkWare positions the trading platform as a <span data-descr=\"Software as a Service \u2014 software as a service\" class=\"old_tooltip\">SaaS<\/span>-solution for scaling the Ethereum network. The project also has its own layer-2 network \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-are-starknets-blockchain-and-cryptocurrency\">StarkNet<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In December 2022, payments giant Visa <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/visa-reviews-starknet-for-automating-recurring-payments\">used StarkNet<\/a> in a proof-of-concept for automated and programmable payments.<\/p>\n<p>In February 2023, the StarkWare startup <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/starkware-announces-partnership-with-chainlink\">expanded its collaboration<\/a> with the Chainlink decentralized oracle network to speed up the adoption of the L2 solution.<\/p>\n<p>Later, the project team <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/opinion-starknet-roadmap-lays-the-groundwork-for-a-2024-airdrop\">presented a roadmap<\/a> focused on performance and user experience in 2023, and in the following year on decentralisation of operations and decision-making.
