This was reported by <a href=\"https:\/\/tass.ru\/proisshestviya\/18185839\">\u0422\u0410\u0421\u0421<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Among others, the request was received by law-enforcement colleagues in Kazakhstan.<\/p>\n<p>According to Russia&#8217;s Prosecutor-General Igor Krasnov, the number of such requests will rise significantly in the future.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;However, their execution will be impossible if each jurisdiction starts to use its own procedures that are inapplicable in the requested country,&#8221; he noted.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Krasnov also warned of persistent risks of using cryptocurrencies to move criminal funds abroad, including those obtained through corruption schemes.<\/p>\n<p>The official urged participants in the Interstate Council for Countering Corruption to consolidate practice in the regulation of the circulation, arrest, confiscation, storage and disposal of digital assets.<\/p>\n<p>As reported, Russian courts in 2022 issued <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/in-russia-the-number-of-cryptocurrency-related-court-cases-has-risen\">1,758 decisions<\/a>, concerning cryptocurrencies.
