The venture investor and billionaire Tim Draper, in an interview Bloomberg TV<\/a>, again reiterated his forecast that Bitcoin would reach the $250,000 mark, pushing the timeline to 2025.<\/p>\n

“I did not expect that US bureaucracy would be so aggressive. I thought officials realized that they had to compete with the rest of the world,”<\/em> \u2014 he explained.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

According to the entrepreneur, regulatory enforcement by the SEC<\/span> squeezes business out of the United States, which has hit the price of the leading cryptocurrency.<\/p>\n

“This is a great system, a great currency, a great way to operate. I look forward to the time when I launch a fund for 100% investments in Bitcoin, when all my portfolio companies begin paying employees and suppliers in digital gold, when all taxes are paid in the first cryptocurrency […]. In this case there will be no accounting, auditing, reporting; everything will be on the blockchain. Everything will be fair and straightforward,”<\/em> \u2014 the investor said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

In 2018, Draper predicted Bitcoin would reach $250,000 by 2022. expanded the forecast<\/a> to early 2023, and in November 2022 increased it<\/a> by another six months.<\/p>\n
