The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/policy\/2023\/07\/20\/myanmar-shadow-govt-to-start-neobank-with-crypto-rails-to-fund-fight-against-military-junta\/\">CoinDesk<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n<p>The stated aims of <span data-descr=\"\u0411\u0430\u043d\u043a \u0420\u0430\u0437\u0432\u0438\u0442\u0438\u044f \u0412\u0435\u0441\u043d\u044b\" class=\"old_tooltip\">SDB<\/span> are to undermine the country\u2019s financial system, controlled by the State Administration Council.<\/p>\n<p>Spring Development Bank will target supporters of the ousted Aung San Suu Kyi who want her return to power. In addition to access to banking services, users will be able to donate to the revolutionary efforts.<\/p>\n<p>The platform will offer currency swaps, term deposits and savings accounts via Uniswap v3 pools and USDT. Among the supported currencies are the Myanmar kyat, the US dollar, the Singapore dollar and the Thai baht.<\/p>\n<p>The bank also plans to launch a lottery, where tickets will be issued to clients as NFTs.<\/p>\n<p>The leadership has promised to comply with the standards of the <span data-descr=\"Financial Action Task Force\" class=\"old_tooltip\">FATF<\/span> and Basel Committee regulations.
