Two weeks earlier, the expert judged the probability at 50%, and a few months ago at around 1%.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-499.webp\" alt=\"image-499\" class=\"wp-image-212814\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Data:<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JSeyff\/status\/1686710022468706304\"> X<\/a>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The expert explained that the decisive factor for Bitcoin ETFs would be developments around <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/partial-victory-details-and-implications-of-the-secs-ripple-case\">the SEC&#8217;s case against Ripple<\/a>, as well as<a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/grayscale-sues-sec-over-refusal-to-convert-gbtc-into-an-etf\">the Grayscale case<\/a> concerning the conversion of <span data-descr=\"Grayscale Bitcoin Trust\" class=\"old_tooltip\">GBTC<\/span> into an exchange-traded fund.<\/p>\n<p>The firm&#8217;s success could lead to the simultaneous approval of all filings in the fourth quarter, Seyffart forecast. He noted that Gary Gensler&#8217;s readiness to fight would be decisive.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond Ripple&#8217;s partial victory, the prospects were dramatically improved by <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/cboe-mirrors-blackrock-elements-in-ark-invest-bitcoin-etf-filing\"> Coinbase and BlackRock&#8217;s joint oversight agreement<\/a>, said Seyffart.<\/p>\n<p>As noted, following the <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/blackrock-files-for-bitcoin-etf-launch\">latest<\/a> in the SEC&#8217;s filing for a spot Bitcoin ETF, Valkyrie<a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/valkyrie-seeks-to-register-a-spot-bitcoin-etf\">Valkyrie<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/fidelity-investments-files-for-spot-bitcoin-etf\">Fidelity Investments<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/wisdomtree-and-invesco-file-applications-to-launch-bitcoin-etfs\">WisdomTree and Invesco<\/a> submitted.<\/p>\n<p>A number of analysts welcomed the development. Bernstein analysts say the regulator <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/bernstein-sees-high-odds-of-spot-bitcoin-etf-approval\">cannot maintain its negative stance<\/a> toward spot ETFs based on the first cryptocurrency for long.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, Galaxy Digital CEO Mike Novogratz <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/mike-novogratz-ties-bitcoin-rally-to-the-fed-and-blackrock-etf-decision\">linked<\/a> Bitcoin&#8217;s rise to the <span data-descr=\"U.S. Federal Reserve System\" class=\"old_tooltip\">Fed<\/span> and BlackRock&#8217;s ETF decision.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The odds of SEC approval for the Bitcoin-ETF rose to 2-to-1, according to Bloomberg analyst James Seyffart.
