The report comes from <a href=\\\"https:\/\/decrypt.co\/152574\/zepeto-jump-crypto-raise-13-million-ztx-metaverse-arbitrum\\\">Decrypt<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Led by the aforementioned Jump Crypto with the participation of Collab+Currency, Parataxis, MZ Web3 Fund and Everest Ventures Group.<\/p>\n<p>Zepeto&#8217;s first project is regarded as the largest Web2 metaverse in Asia by active user count. Its approximate valuation is about $1 billion.<\/p>\n<p>With ZTX, the company plans to accelerate the adoption of blockchain technologies, granting ownership of virtual land. The tokens confer &#8216;membership&#8217; in the digital world, access to future drops, events, and in-game enhancements.<\/p>\n<p>CEO of ZTX Chris Zhang stressed the startup&#8217;s aim to provide a &#8216;level of infrastructure for developers&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>The team includes former employees of Apple, Roblox, Epic Games and EA, as well as programmers who worked on <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-solana-sol\">Solana<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/flow-blockchain-and-token-an-l1-for-nfts-and-gamefi\">Flow<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-cosmos-atom\">Cosmos<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Recently the company staged a digital version of the Gucci fashion show. Visitors could purchase products in the brand&#8217;s virtual store.<\/p>\n<p>In July, the AI and metaverse-focused platform Futureverse closed a $54 million funding round.<\/p>\n<p>In the same month, the infrastructure <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-web3\">Web3<\/a> project Cosmic Wire <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/cosmic-wire-raises-30-million-from-solana-and-polygon\">raised $30 million<\/a>.
