The assets were held at various addresses, including wallets belonging to the Binance exchange.<\/p>\n<p>The largest aggregate amount seized was in the Eastern District of Virginia \u2014 more than $1.2 million.<\/p>\n<p>The FBI stressed that the asset seizure resulted from various violations of federal law.<\/p>\n<p>In July, US authorities <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/9800-btc-moved-from-silk-road\">moved some of the bitcoins<\/a> seized from the Silk Road darknet marketplace.
