With the Gold Card, it will be easier for me to visit here,&#8221; he said.<\/cite><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Audrey Tang, the Minister of Digital Affairs, gave Buterin Kuai Kuai snacks. Locals believe this snack helps ensure flawless operation of equipment. The minister and Ethereum co-founder also sang an old Taiwanese song.<\/p>\n<p>Taiwan launched the &#8220;Gold Cards&#8221; in 2018. They allow staying on the island for up to three years and engaging in work. The initiative aims to attract highly skilled professionals in priority sectors for the country.<\/p>\n<p>Buterin was born in Kolomna, Russia. At six he moved to Canada, where he grew up and obtained citizenship. In May 2021, as Ethereum topped $3,000, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/ethereum-tops-3000-pushing-vitalik-buterin-to-billionaire-status\">made the project&#8217;s co-founder a billionaire<\/a>.
