{"id":83544,"date":"2023-08-24T17:30:26","date_gmt":"2023-08-24T14:30:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/?p=83544"},"modified":"2025-09-12T11:44:36","modified_gmt":"2025-09-12T08:44:36","slug":"pancakeswap-adds-support-for-linea-network","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/pancakeswap-adds-support-for-linea-network\/","title":{"rendered":"PancakeSwap Adds Support for Linea Network"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The non-custodial exchange PancakeSwap <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-a-layer%e2%80%912-solution-in-blockchain\">deployed<\/a> the third version of the protocol on the Ethereum mainnet of the <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-a-layer%e2%80%912-solution-in-blockchain\">Layer 2<\/a> Linea.<\/p>\n<p>According to the developers&#8217; statement, the integration will help users reduce gas fees, speed up transactions, and improve capital efficiency.<\/p>\n<p>In the L2 network, swap and liquidity-provision functions in Linea-based pools are now available. In the coming months, the project team will also implement token farming capabilities.<\/p>\n<p>Linea uses zero-knowledge proof technology (<a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-are-rollups-and-how-do-they-scale-ethereum\">ZK-Rollups<\/a>). The platform is fully compatible with <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-the-ethereum-virtual-machine-evm\">EVM<\/a> \u2014 it supports mainnet code, and developers can use existing tools and infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>The ConsenSys team <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/consensys-launches-alpha-mainnet-for-linea-l2-platform\">launched<\/a> the mainnet alpha version in June 2023.
