The United States’ attempts to harm Bitcoin run counter to the country\u2019s long-term strategic interests, writes ARK Invest\u2019s chief futurist Brett Winton.<\/p>\n

The expert is convinced that the United States would be better off embracing Bitcoin rather than attempting to tightly regulate digital gold.<\/p>\n

“To try to destroy Bitcoin because of the threat to the supremacy of the dollar system is akin to trying to neutralise the technology of language translation, because it [allegedly] undermines the dominance of English,”<\/em> he said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Comments appeared just days after the delay of SEC<\/span> verdict<\/a> on filings to launch spot ETFs<\/a> based on the first cryptocurrency from several firms.<\/p>\n

Earlier, the regulator issued a similar decision<\/a> regarding ARK Invest and 21Shares’s proposal.<\/p>\n

“Both technologies, when introduced more gradually, typically reinforce the edge provided by the measured rule of law that the English\/dollar system already enjoys. Everything else becomes a commodity \/ interchangeable,”<\/em> he explained.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Cathie Wood predicted<\/a> favorable rulings on several applications.<\/p>\n
