During this period she, together with other members of Finiko, misappropriated funds belonging to more than 100 Kyrgyz citizens totaling $1.2 million and 5.7 million som ($64,000).<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the suspect stole &#8216;significant sums&#8217; of money from two other citizens.<\/p>\n<p>Aidarova is charged with participation in a criminal group and fraud. The statute of limitations on her crimes in Kyrgyzstan and Russia has not expired.<\/p>\n<p>As previously reported, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/co-founders-of-finiko-the-financial-pyramid-have-left-russia-authorities-issue-a-wanted-notice\">fraud in a particularly large-scale<\/a> has been opened in relation to Finiko. Total losses from the pyramid&#8217;s activities, according to independent estimates, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/finiko-pyramid-suspends-payouts-and-demands-users-personal-data\">exceeds $4 billion<\/a>. The number of victims is at least 850,000 people.<\/p>\n<p>The founder of the pyramid Kirill Doronin <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/kirill-doronin-testifies-against-44-accomplices-in-the-finiko-pyramid\">remains in custody<\/a> since late July 2021. As part of a deal with investigators he <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/kirill-doronin-testifies-against-44-accomplices-in-the-finiko-pyramid\">testified against 44 accomplices<\/a>. He did not admit guilt and <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/kirill-doronin-denies-siphoning-funds-through-the-finiko-pyramid-scheme\">denied the misappropriation of funds<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>On September 6, 2022, Finiko co-founder Zygmunt Zygmuntovich <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/co-founder-of-finiko-detained-in-the-uae\">was detained in the UAE<\/a>, and in December \u2014 Edward Sabirov. The latter was later released on bail of 1 million dirhams (nearly 20 million rubles).
