The technology will significantly expand the content created and increase its release frequency.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In her view, neural networks are \u201cincredibly transforming\u201d EA&#8217;s business model and will take it to a new level of globalization. The company&#8217;s gaming ecosystem counts around 700 million users, so AI will assist in content moderation, the head of the company believes.<\/p>\n<p>Miele noted that EA \u201chas always been a company that deals with artificial intelligence,\u201d dating back to the Madden NFL football simulator from 1988. The technology was used there to program virtual opponents.<\/p>\n<p>However, now, in Miele&#8217;s view, AI is in a \u201cnew phase\u201d that will significantly affect the future of video games.<\/p>\n<p>During the May corporate briefing, the EA chief executive noted that artificial intelligence can help developers accelerate \u201ccreative iteration\u201d and \u201cthe speed of content creation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>That same month, EA CEO Andrew Wilson highlighted the main problem of rapid technological development \u2014 job losses. He stressed that the agricultural and industrial revolutions led to widespread displacement of the workforce.
