As part of a deal with the investigators, he <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/kirill-doronin-testifies-against-44-accomplices-in-the-finiko-pyramid\">gave evidence against 44 accomplices<\/a>. At the same time he did not admit his guilt and <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/kirill-doronin-denies-siphoning-funds-through-the-finiko-pyramid-scheme\">denied embezzlement of funds<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>An investigation has been opened against Finiko for <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/co-founders-of-finiko-the-financial-pyramid-have-left-russia-authorities-issue-a-wanted-notice\">fraud on a large scale<\/a>. The total losses from the pyramid&#8217;s activities \u2014 according to independent estimates \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/finiko-pyramid-suspends-payouts-and-demands-users-personal-data\">exceed $4 billion<\/a>. The number of victims is at least 850,000 people.<\/p>\n<p>In September 2022, in the UAE, Finiko&#8217;s co-founder <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/co-founder-of-finiko-detained-in-the-uae\">Zygmunt Zygmuntovich<\/a> was detained, and in December \u2014 Edward Sabirov.
