Given the current <span data-descr=\"volume of locked assets\" class=\"old_tooltip\">TVL<\/span> of 151 million MATIC, a reward rate of 4.17% and a 5%<a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-a-dao-decentralised-autonomous-organisation\"> DAO<\/a> fee, the project would earn $166,863 per year.<\/p>\n<p>The proposer noted the suspension of withdrawals from the protocol for 25 days after the blockchain upgrade that caused an error. He said the team must account for this reputational risk, and expressed satisfaction that there was no <a href=\"https:\/\/ru.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/FUD\">FUD<\/a> at the time.<\/p>\n<p>The developer noted that the long-term transition to<a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/developers-unveil-polygon-2-0-architecture\"> the Polygon 2.0 architecture<\/a> presents a significant challenge. The project will have to face substantial changes and bear audit costs, which could trigger the aforementioned issues.<\/p>\n<p>The proposer suggested focusing exclusively on work in Ethereum and not taking on the risks of other blockchains with low TVL.<\/p>\n<p>Recently, Lido Finance announced<a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/lido-finance-to-discontinue-solana-support\"> the termination of Solana support<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, Glassnode <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/analysts-weigh-the-impact-of-lidos-liquid-staking-on-ethereum\">assessed the impact<\/a> of Lido&#8217;s liquid staking on Ethereum and allowed for further growth of the protocol&#8217;s share in the space.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Lido Finance liquid staking protocol may discontinue operations on the Polygon blockchain.
