The process will begin once obligations to the first category of creditors have been settled.<\/p>\n<p>The total amount of compensation depends on the outcome of proceedings with the insolvent <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/ftx-group-files-for-bankruptcy-sam-bankman-fried-resigns-as-ceo\">FTX<\/a>, hedge fund <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/three-arrows-capital-seeks-chapter-15-bankruptcy-protection-in-the-united-states\">Three Arrows Capital<\/a> and other companies. The total claims against them reach $1 billion.<\/p>\n<p>In September<strong> <\/strong>BlockFi <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/blockfi-wins-court-approval-to-implement-liquidation-plan\">received<\/a> court approval to carry out<a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/blockfi-creditors-urge-liquidation-of-the-company\"> the plan to close the business<\/a>. Clients may expect to recover 35\u201363% of the debt.<\/p>\n<p>According to documents, some recipients expect to receive payments in Bitcoin and Ethereum.<\/p>\n<p>In November 2022, the firm <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/blockfi-files-for-chapter-11-bankruptcy-protection\">filed for bankruptcy<\/a> under <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/why-crypto-firms-opt-for-chapter-11-bankruptcy-under-the-u-s-bankruptcy-code\">Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code<\/a>. This followed roughly two weeks after the collapse of FTX and Alameda Research.
