{"id":87042,"date":"2023-11-15T09:52:59","date_gmt":"2023-11-15T07:52:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/?p=87042"},"modified":"2025-09-13T09:20:21","modified_gmt":"2025-09-13T06:20:21","slug":"blockchain-com-raises-110-million-in-series-e-at-a-7-billion-valuation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/blockchain-com-raises-110-million-in-series-e-at-a-7-billion-valuation\/","title":{"rendered":"Blockchain.com raises $110 million in Series E at a $7 billion valuation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The bitcoin exchange Blockchain.com<a href=\\\"https:\/\/www.blockchain.com\/blog\/posts\/blockchaincom-announces-strategic-growth-series-e-round-led-by-kingsway-capital\\\"> closed<\/a> the Series E financing round of $110 million at a $7 billion valuation.<\/p>\n<p>It was led by Kingsway Capital.<\/p>\n<p>The funds were also provided by Baillie Gifford, Lakestar, LSVP, GV, Access Industries, Moore Capital, Prudence, Freeman Capital, Coinbase Ventures, Pledge Ventures and others.<\/p>\n<p>The company\u2019s value could<a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/bloomberg-blockchain-com-valued-at-14-billion-after-funding-round\"> have fallen by half<\/a> compared with March 2022. According to Bloomberg sources, back then the bitcoin exchange was valued at $14 billion.<\/p>\n<p>In July 2022 Blockchain.com <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/blockchain-com-trims-a-quarter-of-its-workforce\">reduced a quarter of its staff<\/a> and the salaries of top executives. The decisions came amid <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/media-blockchain-com-faces-270m-hit-from-three-arrows-capital\">possible losses of $270 million<\/a>, previously lent to hedge fund Three Arrows Capital.
