Unlike market analogues, Nocturne \u201cintegrates privacy directly at the account level,\u201d working similarly to <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-account-abstraction\">wallet built on smart contracts<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>Nocturne is compatible with any DeFi protocol that represents state via \u201coutbound tokens\u201d like aTokens from <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-aave\">Aave<\/a> and cTokens from <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-compound-comp\">Compound<\/a>, the project representatives emphasised. Over time the team plans to expand interoperability with other types of <span data-descr=\\\"decentralized applications\\\" class=\\\"old_tooltip\\\">dapps<\/span> to create private accounts at L1 and <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-a-layer%e2%80%912-solution-in-blockchain\">L2<\/a> of the Ethereum ecosystem.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\\\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\\\"><p>\\n<cite>\u201cWith the launch of Nocturne v1, we are moving away from the notion of a &#8216;privacy tool&#8217;. Privacy should be built into the account level.
