Cantor Fitzgerald will serve as the custodian of reserves and the main primary dealer.<\/p>\n<p>Tether will distribute USAT through its global network.<\/p>\n<p>In July, the company&#8217;s head, Paolo Ardoino, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/tether-ceo-confirms-plans-to-launch-usdt-in-the-us-market\">confirmed<\/a> plans to enter the US market. He announced Tether&#8217;s intention to obtain foreign stablecoin issuer status under the GENIUS Act requirements. Ardoino estimated the timeline for these intentions at three years.<\/p>\n<p>In May, he <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/tether-to-launch-us-stablecoin-in-early-2026\">suggested<\/a> that the company might release an &#8220;American stablecoin&#8221; by early 2026. At that time, he also <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/tether-prioritizes-markets-outside-the-us\">noted<\/a> that the main business interests of the USDT issuer remain outside the United States.<\/p>\n<p>The total market capitalization of the stablecoin segment <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coingecko.com\/ru\/categories\/stablecoins\">stands<\/a> at $292.4 billion.
