This was reported by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.interfax.ru\/russia\/934036\">\u00ab\u0418\u043d\u0442\u0435\u0440\u0444\u0430\u043a\u0441\u00bb<\/a>, citing the head of the agency Yuri Chihanchin.<\/p>\n<p>Most often such transactions are linked to the sale of drugs, fraud and corruption offenses, though there are also cases of financing terrorism.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;Together with VTB Bank we launched &#8216;Transparent Blockchain&#8217;, which enables investigations into cases related to cryptocurrency,&#8221; said the official.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>He said that the tool is currently connected to around 7,000 law enforcement officers and other interested agencies.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;And we have already connected six countries, that is, they are also using it. This enables the filing of criminal cases,&#8221; added Chihanchin.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>As of November, the unified database &#8220;Transparent Blockchain&#8221; counted around 19,000 &#8220;grey&#8221; addresses and tracked more than 30 cryptocurrencies.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, Rosfinmonitoring, together with the Central Bank, prevented 320 billion rubles from flowing into the shadow sector. In particular, 10 shadow platforms with a turnover of 28 billion rubles and 14 financial pyramids were liquidated.
