The combined company now operates as Hut 8 Corp. They will be replaced by New Hut securities under the ticker HUT.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;New Hut is focused on improving efficiency and enhancing the full spectrum of our operations to ensure that we are well-positioned and possess unique flexibility as we approach the <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-the-bitcoin-halving\">halving<\/a>,&#8221; said Asher Genut, the company&#8217;s president.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>As of writing, Hut 8 Mining&#8217;s shares are trading at $2.08 (+9.47%).<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Snimok-ekrana-2023-12-01-v-19.18.40.webp\" alt=\"Snimok-ekrana-2023-12-01-v-19.18.40\" class=\"wp-image-221323\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Data: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marketwatch.com\/investing\/stock\/hut\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MarketWatch<\/a>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Earlier, Hut 8 Mining received approval for the merger with USBTC from the <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/canadian-regulator-approves-hut-8-and-us-bitcoin-merger\">Canadian Competition Bureau<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/hut-8-secures-final-court-approval-to-merge-with-us-bitcoin\">Supreme Court of British Columbia<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/sec-approves-hut-8s-merger-with-us-bitcoin\">the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In June, the company agreed with Coinbase to open a <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/coinbase-extends-50m-credit-line-to-hut-8\">$50 million line of credit<\/a> secured by bitcoins.
