{"id":88087,"date":"2023-12-11T09:33:08","date_gmt":"2023-12-11T07:33:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/?p=88087"},"modified":"2025-09-13T15:52:18","modified_gmt":"2025-09-13T12:52:18","slug":"binance-p2p-platform-to-halt-ruble-trading","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/binance-p2p-platform-to-halt-ruble-trading\/","title":{"rendered":"Binance P2P platform to halt ruble trading"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>From 31 January 2024, 00:00 UTC (03:00 MSK), the Binance exchange&#8217;s P2P platform <a href=\"https:\/\/www.binance.com\/en\/support\/announcement\/notice-regarding-the-discontinuation-of-russian-ruble-rub-support-on-binance-p2p-3016096ace174be381fa22b6636e2c5f\">will halt<\/a> support for trading pairs denominated in the Russian ruble.<\/p>\n<p>Until that date, users can withdraw funds in this currency through the exchange\u2019s fiat partners, convert them to cryptocurrency on Binance Convert, or swap them on the spot market.<\/p>\n<p>Further dealings with the Russian ruble are to be handled on CommEX, which <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/binance-to-exit-the-russian-market\">owns<\/a> the Russian business of Binance.<\/p>\n<p>As part of its exit from Russia, Binance stopped accepting deposits in Russian rubles as of 15 November. Withdrawals will continue until 31 January 2024.<\/p>\n<p>On 20 November, the platform <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/binance-to-delist-ruble-pairs-with-major-cryptocurrencies\">removed<\/a> ruble-denominated pairs with the largest cryptocurrencies.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier reports indicated plans for the exchange to <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/media-binance-to-shut-down-advcash-fiat-gateway\">cease its partnership<\/a> with the payment system Advcash.
