According to <a href=\"https:\/\/rapsinews.ru\/international_news\/20231214\/309480475.html\">RAPSI<\/a>, citing court documents.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\n<cite>\u201cLegkodymov asks to be released on any conditions at the court&#8217;s discretion so that he can live with his wife and three minor children while awaiting sentencing,\u201d the petition states.<\/cite><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The document notes that the Bitzlato founder \u201cis willing to accept any court decision that would allow him to spend time with his family.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\n<cite>\u201cThe opposition to release is plainly erroneous and ridiculous, taking into account all the facts and procedural grounds of this case, Legkodymov&#8217;s conduct and biography, as well as the readily determinable range of possible consequences at this stage of the case,\u201d the petition states.<\/cite><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>In December, the founder of Bitzlato <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/bitzlato-founder-pleads-guilty-to-laundering-700m-and-agrees-to-close-the-company\">pleaded guilty<\/a> to transferring and laundering criminal proceeds. He agreed to shut down the platform and relinquish any claims to around $23 million tied to seized assets of the exchange.<\/p>\n<p>The founder <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/us-authorities-arrest-founder-of-bitzlato-crypto-platform\">was arrested<\/a> in Miami on January 17.
