The past 12 months have not been kind to the non-fungible tokens<\/a> industry. Floor prices for leading collections \u2014 Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) and CryptoPunk \u2014 fell by 57.6% and 13.8% respectively over the year.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, NFTs from these sets accounted for the bulk of major sales in 2023. The Block published a list of the top 10 most expensive NFT sales of 2023: <\/p>\n

On March 7, the token from Yuga Labs was sold on the X2Y2 platform for 440 ETH (~$690,000 at the time). BAYC attributes include the “acid fur,” which appears in only 0.77% of the collection’s NFTs, and the “royal crown” with similar rarity.<\/p>\n

10. Mutant Ape Yacht Club #30002 \u2014 500 ETH<\/strong><\/p>\n
