Each government team will receive structured support throughout the program.<\/p>\n<p>The exact timeline for the blockchain academy&#8217;s launch remains unknown. It is reported that the first educational programs will commence in some countries by 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The official announcement of the initiative will take place at the TOKEN2049 conference in Singapore, scheduled for October 1-2.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;The Government Blockchain Academy will provide countries with the opportunity to address complex development challenges in new ways, moving from experimentation to implementation with a focus on transparency, inclusivity, and sustainability,&#8221; said Irena Cherovich, Head of Innovation at UNDP in Europe and Central Asia.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Professor Paolo Tasca, Executive Chairman of Exponential Science, described the institution as a &#8220;collective blueprint for public innovation.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Initial initiatives to create the blockchain academy emerged in 2023, when the agency announced a partnership with the Algorand Foundation.
