In a now-deleted post, Galaxy Digital&#8217;s head of DeFi, Michael Marcantonio, described the length of the staking exit queue as &#8220;alarming.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He compared Ethereum to Solana, where withdrawals take only two days.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/img-d9a35452cb5f8cc2-4574759401548479.webp\" alt=\"image\" class=\"wp-image-265937\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Deleted post by Marcantonio. However, he added that &#8220;naively reducing constants&#8221; would make the chain significantly less secure for nodes that rarely exit the network.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Loyal Users<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Marcantonio faced a wave of criticism for his post, with many community members rushing to defend Ethereum.<\/p>\n<p>Former ConsenSys product manager Jimmy Ragosa <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Jrag0x\/status\/1968280261596184948\">stated<\/a> that the Galaxy executive&#8217;s criticism of ETH only succeeded in damaging business relationships with other companies.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;It seems Galaxy forced its DeFi head to delete all his <span data-descr=\"fear, uncertainty, and doubt\" class=\"old_tooltip\">FUD<\/span> posts related to Ethereum. [Marcantonio] was involved in insanely mean psychological operations, but I am categorically against corporate censorship,&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/lex_node\/status\/1968379465903550957\">noted<\/a> lawyer Gabriel Shapiro.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>FogoChain co-founder Robert Sags took a nuanced stance, <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/RobertSagurton\/status\/1968321271646888201\">comparing<\/a> staking to banking. In his view, both 45 days and two days are too long to wait for withdrawals.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;Exiting staking is not the same as withdrawing client funds from a bank.
