The combined trading volume for these funds reached $55 million by the end of the debut session, noted Bloomberg analyst Eric Balchunas.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24XRPR&#038;src=ctag&#038;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">$XRPR<\/a> traded $37.7m on Day One, which edges out <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24IVES&#038;src=ctag&#038;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">$IVES<\/a> for the biggest day one (natural) $ volume of any 2025 launch. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24DOJE&#038;src=ctag&#038;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">$DOJE<\/a> is no slouch at $17m, which would be Top 5 for year.. out of 710 launches. DOJE also performed strongly with $17 million, placing it in the top five out of 710 funds for the year,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>According to the expert, the turnover of the spot XRP-ETF <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/EricBalchunas\/status\/1968693956952096876\">exceeded<\/a> $24 million in the first 90 minutes\u2014several times higher than the figures for futures-based exchange products on the asset. Balchunas described the results as \u201cshockingly\u201d strong, considering that on the first day, most instruments usually see trading volumes of less than $1 million.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Not the &#8216;Classic&#8217; ETFs<\/h2>\n<p>Both products are not classic exchange-traded funds approved by the SEC, as they are registered under the <a href=\"https:\/\/ru.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/%D0%97%D0%B0%D0%BA%D0%BE%D0%BD_%D0%BE%D0%B1_%D0%B8%D0%BD%D0%B2%D0%B5%D1%81%D1%82%D0%B8%D1%86%D0%B8%D0%BE%D0%BD%D0%BD%D1%8B%D1%85_%D0%BA%D0%BE%D0%BC%D0%BF%D0%B0%D0%BD%D0%B8%D1%8F%D1%85\">Investment Company Act of 1940<\/a>. This allows for a shorter application review period\u201475 days compared to 240 days under the <a href=\"https:\/\/ru.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/%D0%97%D0%B0%D0%BA%D0%BE%D0%BD_%D0%BE_%D1%86%D0%B5%D0%BD%D0%BD%D1%8B%D1%85_%D0%B1%D1%83%D0%BC%D0%B0%D0%B3%D0%B0%D1%85_(1933)\">1933 Act<\/a>, under which Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs were launched.<\/p>\n<p>The main feature is that XRPR and DOJE do not hold cryptocurrencies directly. They invest in a subsidiary of the issuers in the Cayman Islands, which manages the assets.<\/p>\n<p>The new funds also purchase shares in foreign exchange-traded products from Europe and Canada that track the prices of XRP and Dogecoin.<\/p>\n<p>The asset quotes did not respond to the success of the new ETFs. The meme coin&#8217;s rate fell by 1.6% over the past day.
