We have detected an abnormal withdrawal of ~$3.6M worth of cryptos from <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hypervaultfi?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@hypervaultfi<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The funds were bridged from <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Hyperliquid?src=hash&#038;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Hyperliquid<\/a> to <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Ethereum?src=hash&#038;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Ethereum<\/a>, swapped into <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24ETH&#038;src=ctag&#038;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">$ETH<\/a>, and then 752 <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24ETH&#038;src=ctag&#038;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">$ETH<\/a> was deposited into <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/TornadoCash?src=hash&#038;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#TornadoCash<\/a>. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/mHQLPYXvzS\">pic.twitter.com\/mHQLPYXvzS<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 PeckShieldAlert (@PeckShieldAlert) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/PeckShieldAlert\/status\/1971476404173930660?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">September 26, 2025<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The assets were moved from <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/the-price-of-popularity-and-a-lesson-for-all-hyperliquid\">Hyperliquid<\/a> to the Ethereum network via a <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-are-cross-chain-bridges\">cross-chain bridge<\/a>. They were later exchanged for Ether, with 752 ETH, valued at around $3 million, sent to <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-the-tornado-cash-mixer-and-why-was-it-sanctioned\">Tornado Cash<\/a>\u2014a typical scenario in a <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/how-to-spot-a-rug-pull-signs-and-safeguards\">rug pull<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Such a situation arises when a project&#8217;s team withdraws liquidity or user deposits and disappears, often following aggressive promotion of high returns and\/or in the absence of a thorough audit.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/img-52a199a30b36809f-5278622313866198.webp\" alt=\"hyp\" class=\"wp-image-266417\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Deleted Hypervault account. Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/hypervaultfi\">X<\/a>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Hypervault website and platform documentation promoted &#8220;hands-free&#8221; <span data-descr=\"automatic reinvestment of investment profits\" class=\"old_tooltip\">auto-compounding<\/span>, yield farming bots, and &#8220;adapters&#8221; for redirecting assets into lending protocols, cyclical strategies, and concentrated liquidity pools on <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/hyperliquid-team-launches-hyperevm\">HyperEVM<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Thus, user deposits were distributed across external services to implement complex income-generating approaches.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the project&#8217;s account on X has been deleted, and the official website is inaccessible.
