The document has been sent to the Senate for consideration.<\/p>\n<p>The bill received support from 230 votes, with 196 members of the lower house opposing it.<\/p>\n<p>Under the provisions of the document, the main regulator is designated as the Financial Supervision Commission (<span data-descr=\"Komisja Nadzoru Finansowego\" class=\"old_tooltip\">KNF<\/span>). A licensing regime is introduced for all crypto asset service providers (<span data-descr=\"crypto asset service provider\" class=\"old_tooltip\">CASP<\/span>), in accordance with the European <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-markets-in-crypto-assets-mica\">MiCA<\/a> regulation.<\/p>\n<p>To gain approval to operate in the country, applicants must:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>disclose their corporate structure;<\/li>\n<li>confirm capital adequacy;<\/li>\n<li>provide information on internal control and compliance systems, risk management policies, and <span data-descr=\"anti-money laundering\" class=\"old_tooltip\">AML<\/span> procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Operating without a license entails criminal liability, including up to two years in prison.
