The firm&#8217;s partners included <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/ripple-to-help-montenegro-develop-a-cbdc\">Palau, Montenegro<\/a>, Bhutan, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/ripple-joins-the-development-of-the-digital-lari\">Georgia<\/a>, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/ripple-joins-uk-cbdc-research-initiative\">United Kingdom<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>According to Welfare, these practical studies have significantly influenced the development of the XRP Ledger (XRPL) network, both from Ripple and its ecosystem partners. The experiments also drew the company&#8217;s attention to <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-are-stablecoins\">stablecoins<\/a> and helped prepare for their current exponential growth phase.<\/p>\n<p>In 2023, the firm <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/ripple-launches-platform-for-issuing-cbdcs-and-stablecoins\">introduced<\/a> a platform based on XRPL designed for the issuance of central bank digital currencies and &#8220;stablecoins.&#8221;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cNow we just need to focus on interoperability \u2014 CBDC, stablecoins, tokenized deposits, etc. \u2014 they all need to work together to make it easy for people and businesses to use them,\u201d Welfare emphasized.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In August, Ripple <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/ripple-initiates-testing-of-rlusd-stablecoin\">introduced<\/a> its own dollar-pegged token, RLUSD. The asset was issued on XRPL and the Ethereum mainnet.
