Users can register and await a push notification for launch. Additionally, synchronized sound is now available,\u201d the company stated.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The blog notes that previous neural networks were \u201coverly optimistic\u201d\u2014they could distort objects and warp reality to successfully execute a prompt. For instance, if a basketball player misses, the ball might suddenly teleport into the hoop. In Sora 2, it will bounce off the backboard.<\/p>\n<p>The new application features a function called cameos, allowing users to insert themselves into any scene. These clips can then be shared with friends.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cWe believe that a social app built around the cameo feature is the best way to experience the magic of Sora 2,\u201d the company wrote.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>To form algorithmic recommendations, OpenAI will consider user activity in Sora, their location (determined by IP address), interaction history with posts, and ChatGPT conversations. The latter can be disabled.<\/p>\n<p>Sora 2 and the Sora app are designed with safety measures in mind. The firm reported the use of watermarks and metadata on the origin of each video, image ownership rights, balanced content protection measures, and stricter precautions for teenagers.<\/p>\n<p>Sora includes parental controls. This feature allows disabling infinite scrolling for children, personalizing recommendations, and limiting who can send private messages.<\/p>\n<p>In September, OpenAI <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/openai-introduces-teen-friendly-chatgpt-with-parental-controls\">launched<\/a> a special version of ChatGPT with parental controls for users under 18.<\/p>\n<p>The enhancement of safety measures <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/openai-to-enhance-chatgpts-safety-following-teen-tragedy\">began<\/a> following a lawsuit from a family who blamed the chatbot for a tragedy involving their son.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>OpenAI has launched Sora 2, an updated version of its audio and video generator.
