The team also introduced an updated block explorer for transaction monitoring and confirmed the successful completion of a smart contract security audit.<\/p>\n<p>According to the developers, key advantages of the L2 network include instant order execution, no slippage, and minimal fees for retail users, who will retain free access to basic functionality.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>For <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-a-market-maker\">market makers<\/a> and high-frequency traders, Lighter has introduced fees for using the <span data-descr=\"application programming interface\" class=\"old_tooltip\">API<\/span>. The decentralized exchange has also enhanced its protection system against <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-a-sybil-attack\">Sybil<\/a> attacks and market manipulation.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>During the testing phase, the platform attracted 188,000 unique users and more than 50,000 daily active traders.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The platform&#8217;s upcoming plans include strengthening integration with the <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-decentralised-finance-defi\">DeFi<\/a> ecosystem and implementing a fee distribution mechanism among future Lighter native token holders.<\/p>\n<p>Alongside the L2 network launch, the second season of the points accumulation program has begun.
